Link in bio: how to build your brand's page in Zynta
Zynta's link in bio is a simple links page you build inside the same account where you create and schedule posts. You pick an address for the brand, add the buttons, choose the look and paste the link in your Instagram bio. Below is the step by step and, more importantly, what it does not do, so you can decide whether it is enough for you.
Why a links page inside Zynta
Instagram gives you few links in the bio, and every campaign asks for a new one: the ebook, the offer page, WhatsApp, the latest blog post. People who run several brands end up with one link in bio account per client, each with its own login.
I wanted this to live with everything else. The brand is already in Zynta, with logo, profile photo and colors. The links page can use all of that without you setting it up again.
What the page has
The public page shows:
- The photo: first the brand kit's profile photo; if there is none, the small logo, then the full logo and, last, the initials.
- The title, which defaults to the brand name.
- An intro text of up to 300 characters.
- The list of buttons, up to 30 per page, each with up to 80 characters of text.
- In the footer, the "Made with Zynta Flow" credit.
Links accept http and https addresses, email (mailto:) and phone (tel:).
The look has three starting points: Brand colors (taken from the brand kit), Light and Dark. Then you adjust four colors (background, text, buttons and button text) and the button shape: Rounded, Pill or Square.
The page comes with a title and description for sharing, so the link shows the right name when someone sends it in a chat.
The addresses
- zyntaflow.com/bio/your-brand opens the brand's default page. That is the one that goes in the bio.
- zyntaflow.com/bio/your-brand/page-name opens any other page of the brand.
The brand address has 3 to 30 characters, with lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, and it is unique across Zynta. If you change it later, the old address keeps redirecting and stays reserved for 90 days, so a link you already shared does not break.
Some words are blocked in the address, such as social network names, "login", "support" and bank names, even when written with numbers or look-alike letters. It is a guard against pages trying to pass as someone else.
How to create the link in bio, step by step
- In the menu, open Link in bio. The page uses the brand selected at the top.
- Under Brand address, type the address you want and click Create my page.
- Click Copy and paste the link in your Instagram bio.
- Under Pages, open the default page to edit it.
- Fill in the title and the intro text.
- Click Add link for each button: the button text and the address. Use the arrows to change the order.
- Under Look, pick the theme and adjust colors and button shape.
- Click Save page. The Preview next to it shows how it looks, and the page goes live right away.
For a campaign, create a New page or duplicate one you already have. If the campaign becomes the main thing, use Make default and the bio link opens that page without you changing anything on Instagram.
If you claim the address and forget to add links, Zynta sends you an email 24 hours later saying the page is empty.
What the page does not do
I would rather be clear:
- It does not count clicks or visits. The buttons are direct links. If you need to measure, add UTM parameters to the links and track them in your analytics.
- It does not take a custom domain. The address is always zyntaflow.com/bio.
- It has no social icons, post feed, embedded videos or image per button.
- It does not schedule links to appear or disappear on a date.
- The "Made with Zynta Flow" footer shows on every page.
For many brands that is enough: a page in the brand colors with the links of the moment. If your bio is your main sales channel and you need click metrics, a dedicated link in bio tool still makes more sense.
Frequently asked questions about the Zynta link in bio
What is the Zynta Flow link in bio?
It is a public page with a brand's links at zyntaflow.com/bio/your-brand. It uses the photo or logo from the brand kit, takes up to 30 links per page and is edited in the same account where you create and schedule that brand's posts, so there is no extra login.
How many link in bio pages can I have?
Each brand can have up to 20 pages. One of them is the default, which opens at the brand's short address. The others live at their own addresses, which is handy for campaigns. Since brands are unlimited on every plan, each client can have its own pages.
Does the Zynta link in bio show how many people clicked?
No. The page does not record clicks or visits, because the buttons are direct links. To measure, add UTM parameters to each button's address and track the traffic in Google Analytics or your site's analytics tool, split by button.
Can I use my own domain for the link in bio?
No. The address is always zyntaflow.com/bio followed by the brand address. You choose that address, 3 to 30 characters with lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, and you can change it later. The old one keeps redirecting and stays reserved for 90 days.
What happens to the old link if I change the address?
It keeps working. Zynta redirects the old address to the new one and keeps the old one reserved for 90 days, so nobody else can take it. That way a link already shared in posts, ads or printed material does not break on the day you switch.
Zynta link in bio or a dedicated tool: which one should I choose?
If you want a simple page in the brand colors, next to the rest of your operation, Zynta's covers it. If you need click counts, a custom domain, a post feed or products on the page, a dedicated tool serves you better today.
How do I change which page the bio link opens?
In Link in bio, in the Pages list, click "Make default" on the page you want. From then on, the brand's short address opens that page. You do not need to change anything in your Instagram bio, and when the campaign ends you can make the old page the default again.
