Brand kit from your website: how Zynta builds it
Building a brand kit from your website in Zynta means pasting the address, waiting for the read and confirming what it found: logo, palette, fonts, voice and products. It takes a few minutes, and the result is the base for everything Zynta later writes and designs for that brand. Below I explain what it reads and what it costs.
Why the brand kit comes before any post
Without context, any AI tool for social media writes like any other brand. The carousel comes out in the wrong color, in a tone that sounds like nobody.
I wanted Zynta to work the other way around: understand the brand first, then create. Carousels, post ideas and Reels scripts all draw on the brand kit, so a good kit gets the rest closer to what you'd publish. More on this in brand consistency on social media.
Filling one in from scratch is tiring, though, so Zynta drafts the first version by reading your website.
What Zynta reads on your website
You paste the address and click Read the site. Zynta downloads that page and looks for:
- Name and description, from the page's meta tags or its title.
- Language, from the HTML language attribute (Portuguese, English or Spanish).
- Logo: up to six candidates, starting with images named "logo", then the site icons and the social sharing image.
- Colors: it counts the color codes in the CSS and HTML, throws out grays and near-blacks or near-whites, and suggests a primary, accent, background and text color, plus a palette of up to eight colors.
- Fonts: Google Fonts families and the ones declared in the site's own CSS. The first becomes the heading font and the second the body font.
- Social profiles: Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok links on the page.
- Brand voice: using the visible text on the page, an AI call suggests what the brand does, who it talks to, how it sounds and how it writes.
- Products and services: up to 12. The AI is told not to make anything up, and a price only goes in when it appears next to the item on the page.
- Personas: up to three suggestions, which you accept one by one.
Nothing is saved until you confirm.
How to build the brand kit from your website, step by step
- Go to Brands in the menu and click Create from the site. On your first visit, the wizard opens by itself after signup.
- In the Website field, paste the address of the page that best represents the brand. Usually that's the homepage.
- Click Read the site and wait.
- Pick a logo candidate or upload your own, then click Confirm logo. Uploads accept PNG or JPG. SVG isn't accepted.
- Check the fonts. If the site doesn't use Google Fonts, pick a suggested pair or upload your own files (.ttf, .otf or .woff).
- Adjust the four colors (Primary, Accent, Background and Text) and click Confirm colors.
- Read the four voice fields: what the brand does, who it talks to, how it sounds and how it writes. Fix anything that reads generic and click Confirm tone.
- Review products and services, then click Save brand.
What if the brand has no website?
There are two ways in. The first is Build it from Instagram: with a professional account connected, Zynta reads the name, the bio, the website in the bio, the profile photo and the last 20 captions. The colors come from the profile photo, which also becomes the logo. Instagram has no fonts, so the wizard offers font pairs. Only the brand owner can run this read.
The second is Continue without a website: you describe the brand in one sentence and fill in the rest. No AI call and no reading cost.
If the website read fails, Zynta says so and suggests filling it in yourself, which takes about a minute.
How much it costs to build a brand from your website
Your first brand is free, reading and saving included. From the second on, reading the website (or Instagram) costs 15 credits and saving costs 5, so 20 in total. A failed read refunds the credits. A brand filled in by hand costs only the 5 for saving.
Brands and members are unlimited on every plan. Plans differ only in monthly credits: Starter (US$19, 700 credits), Studio (US$49, 2,000), Agency (US$99, 4,500) and Scale (US$249, 12,000). On the annual plan you pay for 10 months and use 12.
The limits, plainly
- Zynta reads only the page you pasted. It doesn't follow links to your about page, product pages or blog, so if the homepage is thin on text, paste a page that explains the brand better.
- It doesn't run JavaScript. Sites rendered entirely in the browser may return little text, few colors and no fonts.
- A font loaded from somewhere other than Google Fonts or the CSS may not be identified by name. Upload the file in that case.
- Instagram gives you no fonts, and that read requires a connected professional account.
- There are usage limits: 20 website reads per hour per account and 10 Instagram reads per hour.
Treat the generated kit as a starting point and review the voice fields most. They're what separates a carousel that sounds like you from generic copy.
Frequently asked questions about the Zynta brand kit
What is the brand kit in Zynta Flow?
It's a brand's profile inside Zynta: logo, colors, fonts, brand voice, audience, products and personas. Carousels, post ideas and Reels scripts use this profile as context, so the content comes out with that brand's identity and way of speaking instead of a generic default.
Does Zynta read my whole website?
No. It reads only the page whose address you pasted, without visiting other pages and without running JavaScript. If your homepage has little content, it's worth pasting the page that best describes the company instead, such as your about page or your main services page.
How much does it cost to create a brand from a website?
The first brand on the account is free. From the second one on, reading the website costs 15 credits and saving the brand costs 5, for a total of 20 credits. If the read fails, you get the credits back. Creating the brand by hand costs only the 5 credits for saving.
Can I build the brand kit from Instagram instead of my website?
Yes, as long as a professional Instagram account is connected to Zynta. It reads the name, bio, profile photo and last 20 captions, takes the colors from the photo and uses the photo as the logo. Instagram has no fonts, so you choose from suggested font pairs instead.
How many brands can I have in Zynta?
Brands and members are unlimited on every plan. The difference between Starter, Studio, Agency and Scale is the number of credits you get per month. Each new brand costs 5 credits when you create it, or 20 when it's built from a website, and the first one is free.
Website read or filling it in by hand: which should I choose?
If the brand's website has clear text, colors and fonts, the read saves time and you only need to review. If the site is old, built in JavaScript or no longer represents the brand, filling it in by hand works better. Either way, review the voice fields carefully before saving.
Can I edit the brand kit after saving it?
Yes. Under Brands you can change the name, three logo versions, five colors, custom fonts, niche, target audience, brand voice, language notes, personas and products. The changes apply to the next things you create for that brand, such as carousels, post ideas and Reels scripts.
