# How to schedule Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok posts from one calendar

![How to schedule Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok posts from one calendar](https://www.zyntaflow.com/hubfs/zynta-pilot/blog-feature-images/en/schedule-instagram-linkedin-tiktok-posts.png)

TL;DR

- Plan the shape of the week first (how many posts, which days, which topics), then schedule into the hours your own audience responds.
- Instagram publishes carousels as scheduled, LinkedIn shows carousels as swipeable PDF document posts, and TikTok accepts photo carousels with a rewritten caption.
- A good scheduler publishes through official APIs, tells you when a post fails and why, and does not charge for scheduling or failed attempts.

Posting consistently is not a creativity problem. It is a logistics problem. The ideas exist; what breaks is remembering to publish on Thursday at 6pm while you are in a meeting, on a different app for each network, with the caption sitting in a notes file somewhere.

Scheduling fixes the logistics. Here is how to do it well across Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok, and the small differences between the three that trip people up.

## Plan the week before you schedule a single post

Scheduling post by post, whenever one is ready, is how calendars end up with three posts on Monday and nothing until the following week. Start with the shape of the week:

- **How many posts per network.** Three a week that you can sustain beats seven that last a fortnight.
- **Which days.** Spread them. Two posts on the same day compete with each other.
- **Which topics.** A mix of teaching, proof (results, cases, behind the scenes) and offer. If everything is an offer, nobody listens.

We wrote a longer guide on [planning 30 days of content in one sitting](https://www.zyntaflow.com/blog/content-calendar-30-days?hsLang=en) if you want the full method.

## Pick the time from your own data

Published "best times to post" are averages of millions of accounts that are not yours. Your audience has its own hours, and once you have a few weeks of posts you can see them: the windows where your posts got more reach and more interactions. Schedule into those. If you do not have the history yet, pick a reasonable time, keep it consistent for a month, and let the data correct you.

## What changes from one network to the next

### Instagram

Carousels, single images and the caption go out exactly as you scheduled them, through the official API, with no reminder to tap on your phone. You can add collaborators and tag people in the photos. The first line of the caption is what shows in the feed, so it carries the hook.

### LinkedIn

A carousel on LinkedIn is a document post: a multi-page PDF that LinkedIn shows in its swipeable viewer. That format consistently gets more attention than a set of loose images. You can publish to your personal profile or to a company page you manage. We covered [publishing to a company page automatically](https://www.zyntaflow.com/blog/publish-to-linkedin-company-page-automatically?hsLang=en) in detail.

### TikTok

Photo carousels work on TikTok too, with a caption, and they reach a different audience than the same slides on Instagram. Reuse the content, but rewrite the caption for the platform: shorter, more conversational.

## A checklist before anything goes on the calendar

1. The first slide works on its own, with no caption to explain it.
2. The caption's first line makes someone want the rest.
3. Links, handles and dates are right. A scheduled typo is still a typo.
4. If a client has to approve it, they approved this version.
5. Nothing is scheduled in the past or on top of another post.

## When a publish fails

It happens: a token expired, the network had an outage, an image was rejected. What matters is knowing about it before your audience notices the gap. A good scheduler tells you which post failed and why, keeps the post so you can retry, and does not charge you for the attempt.

## Where Zynta Flow fits

Zynta Flow puts Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok on one calendar. You create the carousel or image post, write the caption, pick the networks and the time, and it publishes through each platform's official API at that time, LinkedIn carousels as document posts included. It can suggest the next slot from your own best hours, and a client can approve the post through a link without creating an account.

Scheduling is free. Credits are spent only when a post actually goes out, 5 per post per network, and a failed publish costs nothing.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I schedule Instagram carousels to publish automatically?

Yes. Through Instagram's official API, a scheduled carousel or image post publishes at the chosen time with its caption, without a reminder on your phone.

### How are carousels published on LinkedIn?

As document posts: a multi-page PDF that LinkedIn displays in a swipeable viewer, on a personal profile or a company page you manage.

### What is the best time to schedule social media posts?

The hours when your own audience has responded best. Published averages come from other accounts; your post history shows your real windows after a few weeks.

### Does scheduling a post cost credits in Zynta Flow?

No. Scheduling is free. Credits are spent when the post actually goes out, 5 per post per network, and a failed publish costs nothing.

### Can a client approve a post before it is scheduled?

In Zynta Flow, yes: the client approves through a link, without creating an account.

## Put this into practice

Zynta Flow turns a topic into a finished, on-brand carousel in minutes, and publishes it on schedule. Try it for 14 days with 300 credits.
