Generating costs 20 to 45 credits, depending on the number of slides. Zynta's AI carousel generator works in four steps: pick a template, write the topic, review the copy, then export or schedule. Below I go through what each part costs and where the limits are. ## Why carousels are tiring to make from scratch A carousel is work on two fronts. There is the copy, which needs a hook, a sequence and a last slide that asks for something. And there is the design, which has to stay consistent from one slide to the next. The tiring part is rebuilding the same layout every week and getting the size right for each network. I built the Zynta generator to split those two jobs. The template handles the visuals in your brand colors, and you review the copy the AI wrote before posting. ## The templates: 22 in the gallery The gallery shows 22 templates: 19 carousels and 3 single-image posts. The gallery filter has **All**, **Carousels** and **Single image**. A few examples: - **Hard Card**, 7 slides: a photo with a dark fade and a solid card on top. It ends with "Comment WORD", ready for a comment-to-DM automation. - **Big Number**, 5 slides: one huge figure per slide, with a line on what it means. - **Checklist**, 8 slides: one item per slide and, at the end, the full list in a card. That is the slide people save. - **X Post**, 9 slides in the style of an X/Twitter post. - **Dark Editorial** and **Warm Editorial**, 10 slides each, the longest in the gallery. - **Verified**, the single-image family: a claim, the number that tests it and the proof as a table, a quote or code. Each template has a reference slide count. You can go down to a minimum of 3 (cover, content and closing call to action). The maximum is the size of the template, and the largest has 10. If you are unsure how many to use, I wrote about [how many slides an Instagram carousel should have](https://www.zyntaflow.com/blog/how-many-slides-instagram-carousel). ## The formats Every carousel can come out in four ratios: - **Carousel 4:5**, 1080 Γ— 1350. - **Square 1:1**, 1080 Γ— 1080. - **Stories 9:16**, 1080 Γ— 1920. - **Landscape 16:9**, 1280 Γ— 720. Open **Create** in the menu and pick a template. 2. Write the topic. You can also paste a link to an article: its text becomes the source of the carousel. Reading the article uses no AI and costs no credits. 3. Choose who the carousel is for (a general audience or one of the brand's personas), the tone (the brand kit's or one of six tones) and the language (Portuguese, English or Spanish). 4. Set the number of slides and generate with AI. The button shows the cost first. 5. In the **Review** step, edit all the copy on one screen or slide by slide. If one slide is off, refine it with AI using a free-text instruction. 6. In the optional adjustments, change colors (the template palette, the brand colors or your own color), upload photos and move the layout. 7. Export to PNG to download a .zip, or move on to schedule or publish. ## What Editor Pro adds Editor Pro opens on desktop, on screens at least 1024 pixels wide. On a phone you see a notice that it is available on desktop only. It brings: - **An image manager** with three tabs: **Upload** (with crop and adjust), **Free Photos** from Unsplash with attribution, and **AI Generate**, which first writes one prompt per slide and then generates the images. - **Suggested images**, which fills the photo slots with Unsplash images in one go. - **Collage** of 2 to 4 photos on one slide. - **Per-slide colors**: apply a change to every slide or to just one. - Panels for background, word highlight, icon, header and progress, text style, typography and profile badge. - Reorder, duplicate and remove slides, with undo and redo. - **A public link** to share the carousel. - **Reel**: turns the slides into a vertical 9:16 video. With still slides it is free; with animated texts it costs 30 credits, once per carousel. - Export to **PNG** (.zip) or **PDF**. On LinkedIn, a carousel with two or more slides is published as a PDF document. If the PDF upload fails, Zynta tries again as multiple images. Unsplash, AI images, per-slide colors, PDF, reordering and duplicating live in Editor Pro, which is desktop only. - The gallery has no topic categories. The filter is carousel or single image. - The maximum is 10 slides per template and the minimum is 3. - On the free trial, exports carry a watermark. Paid plans do not. My take: the template matters less than it looks. What makes a carousel work is the first slide and the last one, and that is where your review time is best spent.
